Hello, My name is Michael Sothern, I am 66 years old and is a D.C. Inmate that has been in the Federal Prison System for a number of years, when I was sentenced Parole was still in effect so when I go up for Parole I am seen under the Federal Parole Commission Who has to judge me under the 1987 guidelines by those standards I should have been paroled on my first hearing but I wasn’t because they felt that I should go thru the challenge Program to lessen my chance of coming back on any new charges, I entered and completed the program with honors, came Bach up in 2014 and was recommended for parole, but was sent a letter that said I would have a 90 day set-back to review findings on charges I was Indicted for, but never went to trial or convicted for, came back up for parole again in 2015 and was given a five ( 5) year set-off until March 2020, Now I have been a model prisoner my whole bit, I have never had any disciplinary reports ( that’s shots ) in the more than 25 years I have been incarcerated, I went from High-security in the Federal Prison in Lee county, a. to where I am now at the Butner Correctional Institution 2, Medium-security Prison in Butner NC, where I came in 2016 and have still been a model prisoner with superior Bunter disciplinary reports, with ‘ 0 ‘ points. I am asking for any assistance that you can help me with in this next parole hearing, in the last three Parole hearings I went alone because I believed that all of my accomplishments would show that I was a person who could and would follow the rules of society but I was wrong, now I am seeking the assistance of anyone or any organization that can and will speak up. I am seeking help, if you can will you “Please” help me. Thank You
